Warming Up with Art | Whats Up? #1

So....here we are in yet another brand new year, 2026. My frig time needs to go ahead and SLOW DOWN already! It's been awhile since I have posted on this blog but have been updating things on the site here and there. The latter part of the last year was a very rough time for me personally but I made it. I think the last year was a rough one for most people. Though moving forward into the new year, I look forward to what I hope will be a good year full of art, love and happiness for myself and for all. Its a daily battle. This year I need to get a lot of art out to the world. Again, time is running faster with each passing year it seems.

I plan to focus most of this year on completing several writing projects I have on the table to get out for the world to read in the coming years. I may drop a short story or two as well before the longer tales are released. I also have a new EP of original instrumental theme music by The Mechanical Ruins (titled 'Darkened Days') releasing later in the year. I am also developing a new short animated film idea based on a short story (but that is in the early stages for now).

The biggest additions to this website over the next while will be regular blogs on random topics, reviews of things that I admire in the art and entertainment world, etc. Most of all, I want to share a lot of my artwork on this website. There are going to be a lot of satire cartoons, comic strips, and other illustrations and paintings. It is all HUMAN MADE ART on this website. My own art created from my own mind and hands with the occasional tribute art to various movies and music that have inspired me over the decades.

Eventually, I plan to sell prints and other fun merch on this website from my original visual creations. I also plan to take commissions for those needing art created by a human for various art and design projects. I would love to work with some independent film projects as things develop as well. I am just getting started and I thank all of you who support me and my artwork in all of its forms.

I will leave you with this short blog post for now but I will be back soon. It's time to get to work!
